Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between counseling and hypnotherapy?

Counseling involves talking through challenges and emotions with a trained professional. Hypnotherapy, on the other hand, utilizes a relaxed state of focused attention to address specific concerns, accessing the subconscious mind for positive change.

Do you accept my insurance?

No, at this time we do not accept insurance. All sessions are pay out-of-pocket and are due at the time of service.

Will you make me do something with which I am not comfortable?

All hypnosis is self-hypnosis. You are aware and in control when you are in hypnosis. If you are told to do something that you are uncomfortable doing, you will wake up, just like waking up from a nap.

Is everything discussed in sessions confidential?

Yes, client confidentiality is a top priority. Information shared during counseling and hypnotherapy sessions is kept confidential, adhering to ethical and legal standards. Exceptions may apply in cases of immediate safety concerns.
